In the last couple of posts, we’ve discussed some of the very best Trade Show Exhibit Kits for 10X10ft and 10X20ft booth sizes for 2024. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at some trade show counters that are portable and modular for your 2024 shows.
There are countless quality trade show counters available, but which ones are the best fit for your particular needs? Does it need to be sturdy enough to hold products, does it need to be backlit, or is there another purpose you need it for, like a shipping container?
With so many great options available, I’ll give you a rundown of some of the most popular counters for 2024, broken down based on their features and use.
So here we go!
Trade Show Counters for Staging and Shipping
Years ago, it was discovered that a trade show hard case can also become a really good counter once branding is added. The CA700 and CA900 are both great hard case-to-counters. Store your other trade show assets, like back walls, inside this case and ship from show to show.
Once you arrive, pull everything from the hard case and then convert the case to your branded counter by adding the optional full-color fabric graphic. These set up in minutes and match your back walls.
Genie Hard Case-to-Counter
The hard-shell trade show counter has plenty of room for storage and a PVC custom printed graphic can be added for your branding. These are also wider at 26’ wide x 40’ tall and 16.5 inches deep, weighing 37 pounds when empty.
I like the shape of the Genie Case-to-Counter since it offers a different dimension and look.
Backlit Trade Show Counters
We talked about how differing counters serve different purposes. A big feature that’s often requested—and we’re sure that will continue into 2024 and beyond—are backlit trade show counters. For good reason! They simply look amazing and once you go backlit, it’s hard to go back.
My favorite backlit trade show counters are the Casonara series which come in a range of sizes and provide a 360° walk-around backlit experience.
The Casonara Backlit Counters are also very portable and have a frame system that completely collapses down. In addition, they’re very strong and sturdy and come with an acrylic countertop that can hold product, laptops, and more.
SEGO Backlit Trade Show Counters are another great option and look amazing, especially when paired with the SEGO Backlit Walls. It gives a completely branded appearance where everything matches.
The SEGO Backlit Counters use edge LED lighting that stays attached to the frame sides, so setup is a cinch and completely tool free.
Inflatable Trade Show Counters
There are still a great number of people who have never heard of or seen inflatable trade show counters, but they do exist!
The Wavelight Backlit Inflatable Podium is a great-looking option that is the simplest to set up. They ship with the fabric graphics already attached, so you simply connect the electric air pump, and five minutes later, you’re done! They don’t get much easier than that!
Different Trade Show Counter Shapes and Configurations
If you’re looking for a great portable trade show counter but still need an option that’s big enough or comes in different shapes, I recommend the InfoDesk Counters. These are super portable, using a pushpin tube frame system and fabric graphic.
They also can include mid-shelving, which comes in handy. You can request a zipped back for access to the mid-shelving. With a range of sizes from small to large and different curved and bar shapes, these can fit a lot of different needs for trade shows or beyond.
Hard Laminated Trade Show Counters
For some exhibitors, you need a sturdy, heavy-duty counter. One that you can lean on, one you can stack product on top of, and one that just looks more robust, made out of solid materials. If this is you, I recommend the Hybrid Pro Modular Counters that are available for purchase or rental. These are solid wood or laminate and will handle anything you can throw at it. Keep in mind, these are not portable and will require shipping by freight from show to show. Despite that, the difference in look and durability make these a popular option for 2024 and beyond. Add front graphics or use one with a locking back door for those times when you need to secure personal items or electronics.
Conclusion
While there are many additional counters not listed in this post, these are the top-rated trade show counters as reported back by exhibitors just like you. Have another counter that should be on this list? Drop us a note. We’d love to hear from you!
